With a setting of 38 acres lying within County Antrims picturesque six mile valley Ballyclare Rugby Club boasts one of the finest grounds in all of Ulster Rugby. We have four full size playing pitches and a fully floodlit training area for rugby. A fully floodlit hockey pitch and a separate cricket square currently used and maintained by our affiliate club - Templepatrick Cricket Club.
The clubhouse is equipped with 6 male changing rooms and a private referees changing room with showering facilities.
The ladies changing area is also fully equipped with private showering facilities and room for four teams to change in comfort.
The club shop, secretary's office, ladies and gents toilets and fitness suite complete the ground floor accommodation.
You are reminded of the proud history of Ballyclare Rugby Club as you move up to the second floor. You can view some of the international shirts kindly donated by some of the clubs members such as British Lions Ronnie Lamont and Willie John McBride and see the proud association Ballyclare Rugby Club has with The Old Ballyclarians Association and also look back to see our Club Captains from our formation in 1949 to the present day.
The first floor is separated into two main areas both served by an "L" shaped bar. Adjoined by modern, fully equipped kitchen with catering possible for around 120 people seated in comfort. The hall can also be cleared to give a large floor area ideal for parties, dancing, aerobics, indoor sports, business meetings or presentations.
The seating area in the bar is on two levels and is equipped with a 42" plasma television on the lower level and excellent views of the rugby, cricket and hockey playing areas on the upper level.
